After all, rumors were correct: three new big screen Star Wars projects have been confirmed.

These films will tell epic stories from various points in the franchise’s history. At Star Wars Celebration Europe, happening today, Kathleen Kennedy announced that James Mangold, Dave Filoni, and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy will be directing these upcoming Star Wars films.
Kennedy did not reveal any titles or premiere dates yet. Though but she did share the focus of each movie:
Mangold’s film will go back to the beginning of the Jedi era.
Filoni’s film will be linked to streaming series like Ahsoka, The Mandalorian, and The Book of Boba Fett and will focus on the New Republic.
Obaid-Chinoy’s film will see Daisy Ridley return as Rey Skywalker, building a new Jedi Order after the events of The Rise of Skywalker.
Chances are that we’ll know more by the end of the Celebration.
